At the national Football Business Awards 2022, Element16 Media were victorious in the 'Innovation Award', seeing off competition from the likes of EE, Puma and The FA to claim first prize.
The award recognised the work in the app building sector, with the judges commenting: "This was amazing entrepreneurism from two clearly talented individuals. It was a very impressive story of great entrepreneurial initiative and one to be respected very highly. Brilliant to see a local club showing faith and giving them a chance, which they have clearly made the most of. A fantastic story of two youngsters learning as they go along to help a local team."
